Photography at the Farm

We welcome professional photographers to our flower farm, and enjoy seeing the beautiful photos they take. Bookings are available outside of our regular U-Pick/business hours in order to capture photos during 'golden hour' as well as to allow our guests to pick and enjoy the garden uninterrupted. We do not allow photography sessions in the U-Pick garden during regular opening hours.

We only book one photographer per each one hour time block, so you’ll have full and private access to our fields for yourself and your clients. FIELDS ARE OPEN FOR PHOTOGRAPHY JULY-MID OCTOBER.

Photographers must provide Black Creek Flower Farm with a copy of their valid liability insurance and a signed photographer waiver upon booking.

If you do not have liability insurance,  your clients must pay entrance fees.

  • Booking does not include picking flowers:  The photography booking fee or admission fee does not cover flower picking. This includes refraining from running or cutting through plant rows, as well as avoiding placing props on top of the plants or crops. Kindly use the aisles and pathways for moving around.
  • Dogs/Pets:  We welcome your furry companions for photoshoots! You're encouraged to bring them along to your photography session, but please ensure they are on a leash. Additionally, we kindly ask that you respect the flowers, plants, and other guests at the farm. Remember to clean up after your pet!

All guests must stay a minimum of 5' from the edge of any creek, river or pond, the edges can be deceiving and steep. (Most are far away from any area you are permitted to, so should not be an issue)
  • Remember:  You're visiting a farm, where you'll encounter uneven terrain, plenty of dirt, and the possibility of unpredictable weather. Be ready for some flies, bees, and other insects along the way. Come prepared and have a wonderful visit!
  •  Weather: In the event of thunderstorms or severe weather, visitors are REQUIRED to remain in their vehicles, as being in a field during a thunderstorm poses a life-threatening risk.
