Our small farm retail store operates from July -Thanksgiving, with fresh cut bouquets, giftware, items made by local artisans and much more. We are best known for our ready made to go fresh cut bouquets... just $15 & $20!! You can also pre-order items online for Self Serve Pick up outside of our business hours. Summer/Fall season hours are Wednesday-Friday 9a-5pm and Saturdays 9a-4pm.

As the holidays approach, our farm retail store reopens on weekends in mid November - early December for winter planters, wreaths, garland, and holiday centerpieces. 

Our self-serve farm stand and U-Pick flower field closely follow the seasonal rhythm of our farm retail store often extending a little earlier and later on the shoulders of the season — typically mid-June through Thanksgiving, weather depending.

During the summer months, you’ll find fresh flowers from June - late September (frost depending), along with sweet corn from August to mid-September. As the season shifts into fall, the farm is filled with a large selection of pumpkins, gourds, squash, and seasonal décor from mid-September through October 31st.

Because we’re at the mercy of Mother Nature—especially in the fall—please check our social media for the most up-to-date information before you visit, so you don’t arrive after a frost. If the weather allows, we’ll stay open right up until Thanksgiving. If we have a warm spring, we aim to open the U-Pick mid to late June, mother nature is the boss. Our Pick your own Pumpkin Field typically runs Mid September - Oct 31st.

SELF SERVE FARM STAND

Open 7 days a week | 24 hrs a day | stocked throughout the day.

For convenience you will find our Self Serve Stand separate from  the Farm Retail Store and U-Pick Field Stand... this allows customers to pull around the laneway loop right up to the Self Serve Stand and once they have made their purchase carry on. Making it quick and convenient. The Self Serve Stand typically runs late June-Mid/Late October... we do not have specific dates as it depends on Mother nature and how warm our spring is for crops and when frost start to arrive in the fall, killing off crops. ** If you need something for a certain day outside of our store hours, please place your order online and we will have ready for self serve pick up at our delivery door of the warehouse/Farm Store building. **

Late June: Fresh Cut Flower Bouquets

July: Fresh Cut Flowers

August: Fresh Cut Flowers, Sweet Corn, occasional produce etc.

September: Fresh Cut Flowers + Sweet Corn till frost. Dried Bouquets, Pumpkins, gourds, squash, occasional produce etc.

October: Dried bouquets, fresh bouquets while weather permits, pumpkins, squash gourds etc.

Throughout the year, we also offer special pop-up sales through our website, available by pre-order only during the off-season. These may include spring planters, Easter offerings, Mother’s Day, fundraisers, and our overstock plant sale on Mother’s Day weekend.

When ordering opens up (typically 30-15 days before the pop up), you will find items for these holidays for purchase on our website and items are available by pre-order only and will be labelled and placed for self serve pick up at our delivery/warehouse door of our Retails Store Building.

At the peak of our season you will be able to find us at the Stratford Farmers Market (Stratford & District Agricultural Society Farmers Market, at the back of the Stratford Rotary Complex) as well as at some local pop up markets.

Fresh Cut Flowers: Find Karin at the Stratford Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, selling an array of Fresh Cut Gladiolus and Fresh Cut Bouquets. Be sure to arrive early, she sells out every week! July to Thanksgiving: 7a-12pm

Sweet Corn: Find Korrik our young entrepreneur of the farm and lover of sweet corn at the Stratford Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, selling our delicious sweet corn. Late July - Mid September: 7a-12pm

Seasonal Pop Up Markets: Watch our social media for local seasonal pop up markets we attend. Such as the Stratford Makers Market, these gals always put on an amazing market thats well attended and we love to participate in these, selling seasonal floral items and meeting lots of new faces.

At Black Creek Flower Farm we offer experiences, workshops and events year round, that are seasonal focused and inspired. Whether it is hosted at our location or your own location, you will walk away with something beautiful and having had a relaxed and fun time.
